Springfield Armory’s New FIRSTLINE Discount Program

Many discount programs out there focus heavily on law enforcement and military personnel. However, Springfield Armory’s new FIRSTLINE discount program aims to extend its discounted deals to more than just MIL and LE personnel. The new FIRSTLINE program extends these discount benefits to firefighting, medical, judicial, and select aviation personnel specifically in regards to some of their most popular firearms families currently on offer. All that is needed to take advantage of this program is the appropriate identification associated with the job.

Springfield Armory’s New FIRSTLINE Discount Program

Springfield Armory has strong connections to those that serve both our nation and its citizens. And with its FIRSTLINE program, it has a new way to thank them for their service. This program, open to a wide range of qualified professionals, is designed to offer a select listing of Springfield Armory firearms at discounted pricing in a simple, streamlined process. The select list of firearms includes 37 specific models and variants, and all pistols offered in the line come with three magazines. The products offered in the FIRSTLINE program come from the Hellcat, 1911, XD, SAINT, Hellion and M1A families of firearms.

The new program covers a wider variety of people who are unfortunately seeing greater threats at their workplaces these days. Some of the more unique personnel that are being offered the FIRSTLINE discount include commercial pilots, federal flight deck officers, court judges, prosecutors, EMTs, paramedics, as well as volunteer firefighters. A full list of those who qualify for the discount as well as the required identification is listed below.

I’d like to hear your thoughts on this new program from Springfield Armory. It is nice to finally see more recognition of fire, medical, and court staff as many of these jobs are often at high risk of violent threats even when compared to law enforcement personnel. What would really be cool is if they started offering this discount to pizza delivery drivers (in the top 25 list of the country’s most dangerous jobs). Including commercial airline pilots and excluding nurses?? Including judges and prosecutors who already make huge salaries and have carry rights that average people don't. While I generally approve of discounts for those who serve the community, that doesn't include airline pilots and court officials. Excluding nurses who have a literal and metaphorical $h!t job helping people is super tone deaf.

The problem with these programs is that they often only offer the discounts off their MSRP so that after the discounts you're paying normal street price. Basically it's often just virtue signalling. I don't know if this is the case with SA or not. Glock is the only one that I know of that offers real discounts and that's only for law enforcement.

@BeoBear what are you talking about ? Do you know if any of your alleged facts are true? I am disappointed in such a great deal of fake knowledge: "including judges and prosecutors who already make huge salaries and have carry rights...."

False. Please obtain knowledge before leaving these kinds of comments.

I am surprised in my fellow citizens' false assumptions and singular focus on salary in this discussion. It burdens me to see citizens in the greatest country known to mankind fall to assumptions and false claims, and counting another man's pennies. Do any of you know the actual threats to prosecutors and judges? No, because these are rarely advertised on the nightly news. Please, educate before ya'll pontificate.
