Federal Expands Punch Line To Include 44 SPL

Shooters who choose to protect themselves with the powerful 44 S&W Spl. can now opt for the versatility of Federal® PunchTM. Like all loads in the line, the 180-grain offering was developed using Federal Ammunition’s decades of experience designing the world’s finest defensive handgun loads.

The Federal Punch .44 S&W SPL sends a 180-grain jacketed hollow point downrange. The jacketed hollow point was chosen to find a balance between effective penetration and consistent expansion. The jacket provides penetration while the soft lead more ensures the bullet will expand on impact. We are not dry animals, and carrying a gun on our body all day means that ammunition can be corrupted by sweat and moisture. To better combat this, Federal chose to use high-quality brass casings and a primer seal. This should inspire confidence that your powder will ignite when you need it to. All Federal Punch ammunition is made in the United States. One box provides shooters with 20 rounds of ammunition.

SPECS

  • Caliber: .44 S&W Special
  • Bullet weight: 180 grains
  • Bullet type: Jacketed hollow point
  • Rounds per box: 20
  • MSRP: $35.99

Federal just needs to MAKE MORE AMMO.. instead of introducing ammo for odd ball guns... we do have an ammo shortage for the popular ones now.. duh.

Oh, and BTW, at a local gun shop PRIMERS!!! $6.99 a hundred but they had 20 or so 1000 primer cartons... maybe the price of ammo will go down soon (unless Federal keeps announcing 'punch' ammo for .30 Lugar or .41 Magnum or .38 S&W or something like that...

So from what I read, they made already ammo that can handle sweat and dirt and still fire? Oh and charge more for the same ammo just put “Punch” on it? Come on man, we’re not all on biden wave length
