POTD: Hatsan Escort BTS12 Bullpup Shotgun

Having a shotgun as an escort sounds comforting, and in our Photo Of The Day we’ll take a look at one. The Hatsan Escort BTS12 is a bullpup, gas-operated and magazine-fed semi-automatic shotgun. It looks great in tan! If fires 12 gauge shells from a 76 mm chamber, and the box magazines are available in 2, 5 or 10 shotshell capacity. The cocking handle is reversible and the top carrying handle is detachable.

From Schrombo:

I have to admit – I‘m a sucker for anything bullpup. And I love shotguns.

So there wasn‘t a shadow of a doubt that I had to have one (in fact, on general principle I ordered two, this one in FDE and one in black) of those Turkish made Hatsan Escort BTS12 semiauto bullpup shotguns. And I must say, sometimes those new kinds of shotguns look just fine, but as soon as you touch them, they feel flimsy and toy-like. This is the first one I handled that has a good solid feel to it. And it comes with one 2rd, one 5rd, one 10rd magazine and five choke tubes.
Man, I can‘t wait for rangetime to arrive!

I have to say that I prefer his Czech Side-by-side Shotgun.
