The firearms industry produces its fair share of, shall we say, “niche” products. From Henry’s smoothbore .22 repeater to folding Glocks and much, much more, most of us have come across at least a few offerings that make us scratch our heads. For many, the Grubee bicycle gun rack is likely to be one of those. This rack for Schwinn shooters will run pedal-jockeys $49.95. Grubee advertises free domestic shipping, so no need to hire a bike courier to deliver your sweet new rimfire receptacle.

Grubee looks to be a fairly dichotomous operation. Their website’s categories almost exclusively feature either bicycle products like frames and retrofitted bike motors, or gun products. The latter set includes some inexpensive riflescopes and a buttstock trap-door cartridge carrier, as well as the Huffy howitzer-holder. It’s a bit reminiscent of the scene from the 2001 film “Joe Dirt”, in which David Spade’s character encounters the fireworks stand proprietor who only carries two product lines. If Dirt met Grubee’s owners, they might just look at him like the fireworks salesman and proclaim, “We only like rifles and bicycles.”
