Photo Of The Day and we take a look at the exercise during Eager Lion 2019 in Jordan.

Above you can see a Royal Jordanian Special Operations Forces service member posing for a photo with an M240B machine gun during the visit, board, search, and seizure (VBSS) joint exercise.

Another name for the M240B is the FN MAG, also used as the standard medium machine gun (7,62×51 mm NATO) of the U.S. Marine Corps.

The Royal Jordanian Special Operations Force depart on a rigid-hull inflatable boat (RHIB) to conduct the visit, board, search, and seizure (VBSS) joint exercise during Eager Lion 2019, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Sep. 4, 2019. Eager Lion, U.S. Central Command's largest and most complex exercise, is an opportunity to integrate forces in a multilateral environment, operate in realistic terrain and strengthen military-to-military relationships. I'd probably categorize it as "Lethargic Lion". Half the training events get cancelled for things like "The commander had a baby and he's customarily required to bring sweets to all the other guys", and when events do happen, you get classics like "One of the commandos in an OP ordered schwarma for delivery to the objective, and got rolled up on his way down to pick it up".
