Do you remember that old fable about the grasshopper and the ant – where all summer the ant pushed himself to gather food while the grasshopper sat on his ass drinking vodka tonics and playing Xbox? Wait, I think that was me 20 summers ago. Anyway, we are physically and metaphorically in the golden weeks of summer, with a hint of cool breeze in the air signaling a coming change. Prices on magazines, ammunition, lowers and uppers for AR15 are historically as low as they have ever been. As such, it’s time to top off that summer stockpile of ammo, mags and AR15 parts so you can make it all the way to spring without having to sell a kidney on eBay for more range time.

Sub $0.30/round 5.56mm ammo, $10 magazines, $50 AR15 lowers? Even rimfire ammo has returned to near Y2K levels (I think I’ll try and make next week’s deals all rimfire related). The A2-style profile barrel is Melonite treated for accuracy and durability. Barrel is finished off with an .750″ diameter F-marked front sight base with sling swivel, standard gray handguards and an A2 flash hider.
Upper: Forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper is hard coat anodized black for durability. Featuring M4 feedramp cuts, No T-marks, these upper upper receivers are made for us right here in the USA.
