Almost two years ago TFB mentioned the Portable shooting and training barricades by GTGConsult.

GTGConsult is a Danish firearms training and consulting company, and it’s time again for a mentioning, as they have joined forces with RE Factor Tactical to bring their new Baseline Target and concept to the USA.

Ebbe Wolff, the owner of GTGConsult and with 15 year’s of experience from the Danish Army, designed the target.

GTG Baseline Paper Shooting Target – Description:

the company.

The shooting target offers both traditional and
non-traditional overlays that allow you to run a wide variety of pistol

Range theatrics. I’m surprised ouija boards aren’t used for targets by now.
At the sound of the beep try to communicate with the dead....

@USMC03Vet Targets like this are good for classes and the like, where you're doing multiple drills and need different things to aim at. Also, drilling transitions kinda require something more complex.

I once, long ago, had a training instructor put up targets that were old T-shirts of his stapled to pieces of cardboard of no particular shape. We all snickered until he asked how many bad guys had we ever seen with a target printed on his chest? At that moment, my most often used target became a paper plate. Just a plain old paper plate. Sometimes spray painted various colors. Sometimes having food stains. Just plain old paper plates ... perps don't have circles and geometric shapes at their center of mass. If you can't hit an oddly shaped indistinct, non traditional, "target" with regularity you're just foolin' yourself.
