Shockwave Technologies have introduced their Raptor F1 shotgun furniture kits for the Mossberg 500/590 and Remington 870 shotgun models. These furniture sets include the forend and heat shield, and a bird’s head pistol grip. Shockwave Tech was nice enough to send a sample of each to review. Bird’s head shotgun grips have become wildly popular of late since the release of the Mossberg Shockwave, and Remington Tac-14 and Tac-13 shotguns. Shockwave Tech’s shotgun forearm furniture is a new, modular take on the forend with a twist. The optional top cover to the Shockwave Technologies forearm attaches to the slide action and acts as a heat shield, and also incorporates a front and rear sight.

If you’ve owned a shotgun for any length of time, you’ll notice that they aren’t exactly made from the factory to be modified. As a result, many companies have to spend time developing new parts to accommodate the ever-changing trends and tactics that set upon the shotgun niche. Shockwave Technologies has just introduced their new Raptor F1 Forend which instantly turns your traditional shotgun into an M-LOK compatible rig able to accept almost any M-LOK compatible accessory.

Just before the NRA Annual Meeting, SB Tactical released the amazing reversal letter from the ATF about shouldering “Stabilizing Braces”. The community rejoiced. All across social media, gun groups were overjoyed. However, some were a little too eager and jumping to the wrong conclusions.

I have always been a fan of pushing the envelope, skirting legality and riding the thin line.  We received this release this afternoon from Shockwave Technologies and their very own pistol brace for the AR pistol.

Shockwave Technologies makes a birdshead-type grip for the Remington 870 shotgun called the Raptor Grip.  The grip is polymer and replaces a standard 870 stock in just a few minutes.  If you’ve never swapped the stock on an 870, don’t worry – it is dead simple to do.
