Robinson Arms is producing reproduction Stoner 63 rifles and light machine gun variants (semi-automatic) in a limited run of 200 rifles and light machine gun conversion kits with the iconic top-fed magazine.

The redheaded stepchild of the SCAR contract was Robinson Arms’ XCR, an interesting design from a small company in Salt Lake City, UT. A rifle that is part AR-15, part FNC, and part noodle, the XCR represents an attractive looking and interesting might-have been, and now exists as a small player in a big market (although, as Ed knows, it’s big in Canada!).

In this episode of TFBTV we’re back in the Great White North taking a look at the XCR-M pistol.

Robarms will be making a PDW (personal defense weapon) version of their XCR rifle. The PDW has a shortened stock and a 9″ barrel. From the videos it looks like it will be available with either a fully automatic trigger group, for those who can buy such things legally, and a semi-automatic trigger group for the rest of us.

SOCOMGEAR are patterning an airsoft AEG (automatic electric gun) on the Robinson Arms XCR.

Alex Robinson sent me an email saying that the Robinson Arms XCR 6.5mm (I assume it is the 6.5mm Grendel) caliber conversion kit will be shipping in the second week of February and the 7.62x39mm kit near the end of February.

Robinson Arms make their M96 rifle in a variety of configurations, including a top fed bren style.
