Welcome to TFB’s Wheelgun Wednesday where we explore the wide world of revolvers, past, present, and future. Today we’ll be hopping in the Wayback Machine to the mid-1990s when Manurhin introduced a new, budget-minded revolver, the Manurhin MR93. Thanks to our friend Cédric Armurier, a gunsmith in France, we’re able to bring you a look into this rare specimen. The blokes at the Bloke On The Range YouTube channel also allowed us to share their experiences with the Manurhin MR93. Let’s take a look under the hood.

Ruger has an ample amount of Redhawks currently in their line-up, but you can never have enough revolvers, right? We did not have the chance to interview Ruger or take a statement, but we will venture to guess that they  would tend to agree.

When it comes to revolvers, no company is going to re-invent the wheel (or the wheelgun), but they can always be refined. That is exactly what Ruger has done with two of their Redhawks. In both a 4.2″ and 5.5″ barrel configuration they have added in sleeve and shroud barrels to help improve the accuracy.

Kahr, along with sister company Magnum Research, has announced no less than seven new handgun models for 2017. The new models include lightweight Desert Eagles, integration of integrated muzzle brakes, and various nice additions to Khar offerings.

After James R posted up his Chiappa Rhino 200DS review, I felt the need to share my thoughts about the bigger version. The White Rhino. The White Rhino is Chiappa’s 60DS. It is the same gun just with a 6 inch long barrel. The White Rhino is the stainless hard chrome version of the Rhino 60DS. They do make the 60DS in black just like the one James’ reviewed.
