SPRINGFIELD, MO – CrossBreed® Holsters has, for years, led the industry in comfortable, performance-driven holsters for EDC and CCW applications. Now, the company announces a revolutionary magazine carrier that not only meets stringent durability and performance standards, but also delivers industry-first compatibility for use with multiple brand magazines.
Everyday carry and CCW practitioners often call on multiple handguns to meet specific carry conditions depending on changing situational needs, clothing requirements, and other considerations. Since quality magazine carriers have traditionally been magazine-specific, this means multiple magazine carriers are usually required.

The all-new Confidant Magazine Carrier from CrossBreed is designed to securely accept a range of pistol magazines from multiple firearm manufacturers in assorted sizes. Made from a combination of high-impact and flexible polymers, the Confidant has a self-adjusting, multi-fit design that expands when a magazine is inserted while retaining sufficient retention that never requires adjusting or fine-tuning. What’s more, this ability to expand and contract allows the Confidant to accommodate multiple magazine sizes and styles.
As for durability, the Confidant has proven itself more than capable of withstanding hard use and austere environments in extensive field testing. The magazine carrier has also passed rigorous controlled environment evaluations, successfully passing the “1,000-draw test” under extreme cold and hot temperatures.
The Confidant is comprised of front and rear clamshell-style panels made of a rugged polymer. These panels offer impact protection for the magazine and a mounting point for the clip-on belt loop. With its low-profile, reversible carry design, the Confidant can be worn easily and discreetly in either OWB or IWB configurations.
Joining these panels are fore and aft flexible polymer bands. The bands expand when a magazine is inserted into the carrier. Since these elastomer polymer bands can expand and contract across a wide temperature range, they provide continual retention to keep the magazine securely stowed while ensuring a smooth, quick draw when needed.
