The fact that this is open source unlike Plan B, left hand threaded unlike Plan B, tapered like Plan B cribbed from Maxim, and as compact as possible unlike Xeno, and used by the best cans in existence, means this is destined to become a dominant standard.

If Plan B could topple Keymo, then this CGS pattern can topple Plan B. As a bonus, it's almost certain that the very best manufacturers like LPM and Rearden will support it. It's likely that they already have been the OEMs for these mounts.

It honestly does not make sense to go HUB for CAT cans unless you just absolutely do not want to make a switch, or progress to dedicated cans per host.

QD mounts and various work-arounds are only a problem because the US acts like mufflers are magical, and prohibits citizens from simply buying cans over-the-counter the way they can buy firearms (and they will fire a tripod mounted GPMG into a country music concert to keep it that way). If cans were regulated in the US the way they are in Europe, you wouldn't worry about QD mounts for your can, because you'd probably just buy a different can for every rifle and leave it on there most of the time. On pistols, it's a bigger issue because of convenience and concealed carry requirements/methods, but you can just invest in one system and call it a day. One reason you can't do this with rifles is, again, because the ATF invented a problem which forces you to weld on your mount to achieve an arbitrarily chosen barrel length, which is stupid and pointless.

The solution to these technical challenges is REPEAL THIS RIDICULOUS, UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAWS!
