I’ll be the first to admit I’m not a fan of the Springfield XD series of pistols.  It’s all the features I hate about a 1911 (namely the grip safety) rolled into a polymer frame. So when I see something like this, it’s hard to know where to start. Yeah, I don’t like the XD, but seriously, why put even more money into a gun that wasn’t worth much to begin with?

I seriously doubt it was worth it to put a titanium barrel in this. I’ve never liked the XD trigger, and I doubt the groups got better after that was installed.  But hey if you like having a gun chambered in a caliber where the loaded mag is 1/3 the total weight, I guess this is the gun for you.  For me, yeah I think I’ll pass.
