POTD: Swedish Marines – Coastal Rangers With M3E1 Anti-Armor Weapon System

    M3E1 Anti-Armor Weapon System

Welcome back to another run of our Photo Of The Day. Today we have a big Ka-Boom in the form of the M3E1 Multi-purpose Anti-armor Anti-personnel Weapon System, otherwise also known as the Carl Gustaf 8.4 cm recoilless rifle.

Coastal rangers with the Swedish Marines engage targets with a M3E1 Multi-purpose Anti-armor Anti-personnel Weapon System during a live-fire training evolution as a part of Exercise Archipelago Endeavor 23 in Sweden on Sept. 7, 2023. Exercise Archipelago Endeavor is an integrated, Swedish Armed Forces-led exercise that increases operational capability and enhances strategic cooperation between the U.S. Marines and Swedish forces.

Below: A series of images of the Swedish Combat Boat 90 (CB-90), which is pretty well suited for the task.
