5.11 Tactical, known for its purpose-built apparel, footwear, and gear, has introduced its new Mission Ready™ Dog and AROS K9 Collections. These collections are specially designed for active and working dogs, as well as their handlers, with a focus on functionality, durability, and comfort. Its great to see 5.11 finally bringing their K9 line from the European market over here to the United States. Previously I was only able to find their K9 line on their Swedish website. The TFBTV crew got a good look at all of these items at the SHOT Show this year and I have been pretty excited to get my hands on these products for the K9s in my life.

Constructed with lightweight 330D nylon, a padded chest panel, and adjustable straps, this harness prioritizes the comfort of the dog. It also includes practical features such as a low-profile quick-release buckle, dual V-ring attachment points, a grab handle, and a MOLLE loop panel for added convenience for the user.

For dog owners in search of a dependable collar, the Mission Ready™ Dog Collar is available for $20. Constructed with sturdy nylon webbing, a low-profile Duraflex® side-release buckle, and an aluminum V-ring for leash attachment, this collar offers long-lasting reliability.

In addition to the collar, the Mission Ready™ Dog Collection includes two practical leashes. The Mission Ready™ Modular Dog Leash, priced at $35, is made with 1-inch Nylon webbing and a tubular webbing bungee system. It features a metal swivel hook for added flexibility, providing up to 7 feet of length. This leash can be used in handheld or waistband configurations, offering a padded handle and a side-release buckle that attaches to an accessory loop.

The Mission Ready™ Dog Leash, available for $30, offers 5 feet of 1-inch Nylon webbing with a metal swivel hook for attachment. It includes a padded neoprene handle, an accessory loop, and a secondary handle to enhance comfort and versatility.
In addition to the Mission Ready™ Dog Collection, 5.11 Tactical has introduced the AROS K9 Collection, developed with input from professional K9 handlers to ensure functionality and reliability in demanding situations. The AROS K9 Harness, priced at $150, boasts a low-profile and minimalistic design that allows for a wide range of motion for K9s. It evenly distributes weight to reduce strain and provide a comfortable, secure fit with its padded chest panel and adjustable straps. Durability is a key feature, with reinforced construction, nylon webbing, a metal V-ring, and an AustriAlpin COBRA® buckle. Additional attributes include a lay-flat grab handle for maximum control and a removable loop ID panel.
The AROS K9 Harness,
The AROS K9 Collection includes two collar options: the AROS K9 Collar 1.0” priced at $70, and the AROS K9 Collar 1.5” priced at $80. Both collars are constructed with rugged durability, featuring durable nylon webbing and reinforced stitching. They also include AustriAlpin COBRA® buckles for added strength and reliability.

The AROS K9 Collar 1.0” provides a D-ring attachment point, while the AROS K9 Collar 1.5” offers a metal V-ring for attachment. Additionally, the AROS K9 Collar 1.5” is designed with a lay-flat grab handle, allowing for maximum control in a minimal profile.
The next thing 5.11 needs to launch is a line of dog-related patches for all of the people who will want to put “service dog” tags on their K9 when the bar says no animals allowed. I think this was a natural progression in gear for the company and I’m happy to see 5.11 coming to market with more products that people have been asking for over the past few years. Hopefully, we can get a few copies of the AROS K9 Collar 1.0, AROS K9 Collar 1.5, The AROS K9 Harness, The Mission Ready™ Modular Dog Leash, Mission Ready™ Dog Harness and Mission Ready™ Dog Leash for testing purposes for you guys soon and get some reviews out.
