POTD: The HERA Arms 7SIX2

HERA Arms from Germany have an interesting product in their “7SIX2“, which of course comes from the caliber 7.62 mm. It’s basically a semi-automatic AR clone with a 16.75″ barrel, a KeyMod handguard, an HRS buttstock and a sports compensator. The price is around 2,959.00 EUR, roughly the same in US dollars.

Here are some more details, from HERA Arms:

Our pre-configured 7SIX2 semi-automatic rifles already set one of the highest standards in the basic configuration.

Two-sided 45/90 degree fire selector lever with 25 possible combinations, free choice of forearm such as Keymod, M-Lok or Quad-Rail at no extra charge, housing parts in Gen. 3 design as well as those built in as standard HERA AGS (Adjustable Gas Ssystem) are just some of the features.

Innovative polymer products specially developed by HERA and also manufactured in Germany, such as stocks (except for model 10060), magazines, grips and fore grips, are a matter of course for us in order to be able to deliver consistently high quality and a homogeneous system. Recommended ammunition for better ballistics and feeding of hunting cartridges: bullets with plastic tips.

The features image has an OD Green 7SIX2, with a suppressor and a thermal clip-on. Ready for wild boars?

I hate pretentious marketing terms. 25 different fire control lever configurations? That's 5 kinds of lever, two examples of each.

Expensive, yes, but that's about par for Europe, and it appears to be a fine rifle otherwise.
