POTD: PGM Mini Hécate II with Schmidt & Bender 5-25×56 PMII

    PGM Mini Hécate II

    The PGM Mini Hécate II

Photo Of The Day and we’re looking into the cleanest shooting range I have ever seen, don’t you agree? The “model” is the PGM Mini Hécate II, in PGM’s new shooting tunnel. The original design was for the 338 Lapua Magnum caliber, but it is now also available in calibers like 300 PRC, 300 Norma Magnum, 375 SwissP and similar to suit everyone’s needs.

The riflescope is the excellent Schmidt & Bender 5-25×56 PMII, mounted in PGM’s own mount. I’d say that the location of the bipod is good for anyone who wants to be able to change between targets quickly, but it’s not the most stable place for a bipod. Where do you prefer your bipod, or does it depend on the situation?
