Rhineland Arms And Global Defense Announce R2000 in .308 Win

Rhineland Arms And Global Defense Announce R2000 in .308 Win

Rhineland Arms and Global Defense made a splash at SHOT 2023 with their R2000 rifle chassis. That kit builds a reduced-scale WA2000 clone with AR-15 internals. A big brother is now in the works, with a .308 Winchester-size version on the way.

    More New Guns @ TFB:

The .308-size R2000 uses standard SR-25 magazines. It is available for preorder now at a discounted price of $1,000 with finished wood, or $925 with unfinished wood. This is a kit rather than a complete gun, so the end user needs to supply their own barrel, bolt carrier group, trigger, and recoil spring/buffer. Only 25 chassis kits are available as part of this presale. The full retail price will be $1,200 for unfinished wood and $1,350 for finished wood. Rhineland anticipates a 12-week lead time for the preorder kits.

    From the manufacturer

Rhineland Arms Rifle Chassis (for AR10 parts semi-auto system, Finished Walnut).

The R2000 chassis is the next evolution of the AR15/AR10 rifle that takes its design cue from the incredible Wa2000 and now in 308!

The 308 pattern R2000 is built around the full size Ar10 parts and uses the Sr25 magazines. Each rifle comes with everything Rhineland Arms has learned and upgraded on the first R2000s including a steel barrel nut, upgraded spanner wrench, the ability to take Ambi safeties and use anti walk pins for the trigger group.

This is a pre-sale for the first 25 chassis with the serial numbers starting at 001-R308 and going in sequence. Shipping time frame is expected to be around late August/mid-September. Actual cost for the kit will be $1350.00 (Finished Walnut), we are discounting it to $1000 for the pre-sale only.

The R2000 kits are designed for your AR parts and are extremely easy to assemble, usually just taking minutes-except for the bolt hold open device. You must provide the AR15/10 bolt group, trigger, barrel, and recoil spring/buffer, which gives you the ability to customize to your needs.
