TFB’s Photo Of The Day is a daily blog that features images of firearms in various places. Over the years it’s developed into a series of articles that thousands of our readers enjoy. Those who know me, know my passion for firearms and sports cars, so what could be better than this Blaser R8 Ultimate Silverstone? In case you didn’t know, Silverstone is a race track in the United Kingdom. The car in the background is, of course, the Aston Martin DB5 famous from James Bond‘s Goldfinger. Mr Bond’s car came fully loaded with machine guns, tire slashers, oil jets, a rotating license plate, and an ejector seat for unwanted passengers.

I recently borrowed a Blaser R8 Carbon Success with “Extras”, which I would hold over the Silverstone version here.

Iconic design produced in series: International racing and Blaser share the same passion for top performance and design. The R8 Ultimate Silverstone is a tribute to perfection and understatement.
