The final match of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 ended several hours ago and Argentina became the world champion. To commemorate the 22nd Copa Mundial, Austrian gunmaker Johann Fanzoj built eight Mauser 98 pattern bolt action rifles each featuring one of the stadiums the matches took place in inlaid on the magazine floorplate and the World Cup on the grip cap.

Here is the Johann Fanzoj social media post that was accompanying these pictures:

Honored to participate in preserving the memory of the first soccer World Cup ever held in an Arab country.
Eight stadiums immortalized on a serioes of Fanzoj bolt action rifles, built around the legendary Mauser 98 action; stadiums inlaid in white-gold.

Congratulations to the Argentina national football team on winning the World Cup and Johann Fanzoj on the completion of another amazing project!
