TFB Podcast Roundup 83: Everyone is Worried About the Future

Welcome to TFB Podcast Roundup 60. Math was always one of those subjects in school that I never really enjoyed or looked forward to. To be 100% honest, it was always a struggle for me throughout most of the school and something I almost never really appreciated until I started flying and shooting. While math can be applied to a great many recreational activities, few sports take advantage of math as well as shooting sports do whether its generating load data for a new cartridge, determining the proper torque specs for a given piece of hardware, or “weaponizing math” for precise long-range shots. No matter how you slice it, if you’re into firearms and you want to get optimal results from your firearms and components, throwing in even just a little bit of grade-school math will take you a long way. That’s why this week’s first selection for our 60th podcast roundup features the guys over at Gun Talk Media and their guest Frank Galli of The Sniper’s Hide. Please sit back, relax, and enjoy this week’s selection of gun-oriented podcasts.

Colion Noir Podcast | CNP #17 | Dr John Lott Exposes Media Dishonesty About Good Guys with Guns & Mass Shootings

    Length: 18 Minutes

Despite mainstream media accounts asserting that heroic individuals putting an end to mass shootings is a statistically exceptional event, research suggests that such instances occur more frequently than people think, says crime researcher Dr. John Lott. According to Lott, the mass shooters frequently indicate in their diaries or manifestos that they want to attract media attention and that they are aware that the more victims they kill, the more attention they will receive. These individuals repeatedly mention going to a location where they know victims can’t protect themselves while leaving comments explaining why they hit the target that they did.  They are not naive. They are aware that if individuals have the ability to defend themselves, they won’t be able to murder as many people and won’t garner as much media attention as they would want. TFB B-Side Podcast: An Interview with an Internet Gun Meme Lord

    Length: 38 Minutes

Today on the TFB B-Side podcast we have a bit of a non-standard guest. I’ve been following and laughing with Wes (Natos_Revenge) for just about as long as I have had an Instagram account. Knowing Wes and a good chunk of both the online and offline internet community I’ve learned that the gun industry is actually quite an untapped source of entertainment, and humor for many, and I personally believe that it’s only been a boon for not only the gun industry but 2nd Amendment rights as a whole across the country. So sit back, relax, and laugh with me and Wes as we discuss our successes, failures, and hopes for the future when it comes to firearms and the memes we so lovingly share with all of you on the world wide web.
