TFB Weekly Amazon Deals 30: Comprehensive Cleaning Kits
Welcome to TFB Weekly Amazon Deals 30! Everyone knows it’s good practice to keep all of your firearms maintained and if you carry concealed on a daily basis then you should probably be taking extra care to make sure all that pocket lint and dead skin aren’t jamming up your gun. A good place to start for any firearms cleaning endeavor is going to require a good comprehensive cleaning kit. Today for TFB Weekly Amazon Deals 30 I’ve hand-selected a number of great deals on some more comprehensive firearms cleaning kits to keep on your workbench at home. These probably won’t ever make it to the range with you – there are far smaller and more convenient cleaning kits for that. Today we’re really looking for a “buy once cry once” solution or at least a place to get started and maybe even a place to store all of those other cool cleaning tools you’ve been collecting over the years.
TFB Weekly Amazon Deals 30: Comprehensive Cleaning Kits
When I was a child, all of the “cleaning kits” I ran into looked like ammunition boxes and they all smelled like Hoppe’s No. 9 bore cleaner. It looks like cleaning kit companies have progressed to the point where they are now offering their cleaning kits in nice, organized, and convenient cases like this one from Allen. This 50-piece kit covers everything from 22LR all the way up to 12 gauge shotguns and also includes a full set of swabs, cleaning jags, muzzle guards, and wire brushes for those caked-on carbon deposits. Currently on sale for $54.27.
If you’ve ever had your wife complain about you cleaning your guns on the coffee table, dining table, or kitchen counter (because your garage is obviously full of very important unfinished projects), then this cleaning kit might appeal to you so you don’t wind up leaving bits of lead and carbon on the table. The Real Avid Gun Cleaning Kit includes a convenient cleaning mat that is integrated with a parts tray so that you won’t lose important parts when doing a deep clean on your gun. Currently on sale for $39.99.
Hoppe’s is probably the most popular name when it comes to gun cleaning products and for good reason – they always deliver and are very consistent with their product quality. This Hoppe’s cleaning kit includes everything needed to clean your guns. The kit is a little less expensive than the others on this list but it still includes a nice carrying case and also makes use of soft, safe, and inexpensive aluminum cleaning rods rather than brass ones. Currently on sale for $26.30 for those looking for a smaller kit on a budget.
The Tipton Ultra Cleaning Kit really has it all but it will come at a price. This kit includes a 3-piece stainless steel cleaning rod, 13- piece jag set, 13-piece bore brush set, and can clean everything from .17 HMR all the way up to .45 caliber rifles and pistols. The convenient case features a customized storage area with closed-cell foam and additional room inside for the storage of your own solvents, cleaning patches, oils, and other small tools. Currently on sale for $109.59.
Whether you’re a firearm requiring maintenance or just needs some light cleaning, Tipton is there to provide you with all of the tools and supplies you need to always perform at your best. Our tools are easy and convenient to use so that you can get back to what you love doing, because Tipton is what every firearm deserves.
If you’re looking for a true all-in-one solution, then you might want to consider the Otis Technologies FG-100 Elite Cleaning System. This kit comes complete with lubricant, lens cleaners, cleaning patch cables, tons of brushes, and of course, a few cleaning cloths for your optics, accessories, and firearms. All of this comes in a zippable carrying case and also comes with its own pre-packed tactical cleaning kit which carries smaller brushes, cables, and patches for your handguns (it also includes a small bottle of FP-10 lubricant.). This kit is the most expensive one on this list but it’s currently on sale for $118.69.
