POTD: Steyr AUG and Heckler & Koch G36
Photo Of The Day: The German Bundeswehr and the Austrian Bundesheer training together in AUTDEUMIL. One rarely sees the Steyr AUG and Heckler & Koch G36 together like this, but above is an excellent exception. Which one would you prefer and why?
We also have Bravo Platoon with the Heckler & Koch MG5 Machine Gun, monitoring and directing the fire once the enemy has been recognized. Is tan better than black if you want to blend in?
The location is the TÜPL Allentsteig military training area in Austria, and these soldiers are currently preparing to attack a nearby village as part of their training.
An Austrian soldier, deployed in Sturmgruppe 1, opening the Concertina wire barrier using fire and fog to hide.
From inside a hidden location, the sniper squad is looking for targets. The spotter assigns the targets to the shooter. The coordination card helps with quick target assignment. Note the net over the window.
