Brownells Joins the Firearms Policy Coalition Constitution Alliance

The firearms community can become quite fractured at times over what many would consider non-issues. I think I speak for everyone here at The Firearm Blog by saying that we always want more people coming under the 2A umbrella and today I think we’re seeing a bit more of that type of attitude from one of the gun industry’s biggest players. Brownells and the Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) have announced that Brownells will be joining the FPC’s Constitution Alliance in support of the FPC’s legal action and advocacy programs which are geared towards protecting and supporting the 2nd Amendment rights of Americans.

It is an honor to have earned the support of Pete Brownell and the Brownells family,” said FPC president, Brandon Combs. “Brownells is not only a world-class supplier of constitutionally protected products, it is an institution in our culture. Because of the generous support of our individual FPC Grassroots Army members and growing family of Constitution Alliance benefactors, like our friends at Brownells, our FPC Team is able to aggressively address important issues and protect individuals’ rights, freedoms, and property without hesitation. FPC will proudly continue to Fight Forward for the People and their rights, liberty, and property.

The Constitution Alliance Program is a way for companies to directly support the FPC in its efforts in litigation, legal action, research, education, and other programs that the FPC starts and supports. The program is open to manufacturers, distributors, and retailers who want to partake in a public stand for and with other Second Amendment supporters. Brownells is just the latest big name to join the Constitution Alliance Program standing among other big names in the firearms industry such as SIG Sauer, Daniel Defense, Silencer Shop, Vortex, Zev Technologies, and Taurus. FAmazon and the NRA-lite.

We don't need "a seat at the table" for a "discussion" about the "2nd Amendment", we need those who even dream about questioning the 2nd Amendment to fear, at minimum, an alley beating, if not a Seth Rich-ing, after which incident someone then goes after their family and everything else they ever Fing cared about, including home, property, livestock, pets, chattel, paper, dry goods, . . . dust-bunnies, whathaveyou.

And reliance on the Constitution's Amendments is flawed here as well. Our Founders / Framers came up with the idea of America, and, except for a very small percentage, the citizenry was brought kicking and screaming into it. However, their "idea" was "ratified". If anyone who's ratified that idea now wants to chuck this little bit, then they better expect that anyone else, and everyone else will chuck the rest of it.

The Founders / Framers, knew, that they were just some of our idiot neighbors who needed a job, and that, whatever forthcoming "government" they created for America would and could only be filled by more of our idiot neighbors who needed a job. The Founders / Framers, knew the proclivity of such idiots to slip-into despotism AS A PERMANENT HUMAN WEAKNESS by aywhole control freaks. Thus they wrote 2 x in The Declaration of Independence, that you should chuck such idiots "whenever" you deem necessary. One of those times they wrote, in the flesh-language of that document, that it is your "duty" to. It is even implied a 3rd time in the 1st Paragraph of the Declaration.

THERE IS NO, EVEN BROKEN, LOGIC THAT CAN BE HAD TO SAY THAT OUR FOUNDERS WROTE THOSE THINGS, YET WANTED ANY BONA FIDE CITIZEN TO HAVE TO ASK THEIR IDIOT NEIGHBORS WHO NEEDED A JOB (their "government") THAT NEEDED REPLACING, FOR THE MEANS
OR THE PERMISSION TO OBTAIN THE MEANS
    TO DO SO.

    No goddammned way.

Further, as all rights are essentially freedoms from-government, then government cannot also be the issuer of those rights, or the protector of those rights.

And the "discussion" over this shi7 needs to end right now.

@Ondřej Tůma Ya, again, I said they need to FEAR that. Going against the 2nd Amendment in any form needs to be MORE HEINOUS to them than that.

      OK?

      That was rhetorical.

People here tread on egg shells (in their commenting) for fear of what their Fing idyet aywhole neighbors who needed a job might throw at them. Those neighbors also need to have the same fear.

      OK?

      Again, rhetorical

Good for Brownells! Too many firearms-related manufacturers have played the 'PC'/'we don't want to offend anybody' strategy for too long. You can't do that with Communists. They will bury you. You have to stand your ground and fight back -- politically, in this respect. By forming strong political alliances to preserve our Second Amendment rights, it will also ensure that they can still produce firearms-related products. 'If we don't hang together, we will surely hang separately' -- Benjamin Franklin.
