Strike Industries GRIDLOK Handguard Now For HK416
The HK416 is known for running without fail in all sorts of environments. This is why so many military and police forces have adopted the gun. It’s also known for being noticeably heavier than some other systems. Giving two new handguard options to HK416/MR556 owners (including one to save some weight), Strike Industries has released their new GRIDLOK handguards for the HK416/MR556/M27 IAR.
HK416 @ TFB:
Mission dictates gear. Specifically designed for Law Enforcement and Special Operations communities who have adopted the HK416/M27 IAR platform in the U.S. and all around the world. The Strike Industries GRIDLOK® Rail for 416 gives you a primary, a secondary or multiple setup options as a quick and direct handguard swap.
Strike Industries GRIDLOK Handguard Now For HK416
These handguards use Strike’s Quick Rail Detach GRIDLOK locking latch to quickly be detached and reattached to your HK416/M27. This allows users to switch between different preloaded rail setups depending on their purpose. They come in two variations. The Full Duty version comes with a full Picatinny rail along the top. The Lightspeed version removes some Picatinny across the top for some weight savings. The front of the handguards has a built-in flip-up iron sight. The muzzle end is designed to fit suppressors up to 1.57″ in diameter. These rails are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum.

Ok, I focused on the receiver and worked my way down the rail. Strike was batting 1000 until I got to the ‘slash cuts’ at the end. That rail is badass, they just should have run it all the way to the end.
