POTD: The Tabasco Heckler & Koch M110A1 CSASS

    M110A1 CSASS

Our Photo Of The Day comes with some spicy sauce. What’s up with the empty Tabasco bottle at the front of the M110A1 CSASS? It all reminds me of our 2018 April Fool’s Day joke called the No Hassle Tactical Tassle.

The soldier above is with Charlie Company 1-185th Infantry Regiment, California Army National Guard, and the photo is taken during a live-fire exercise at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California, July 30, 2021.

Below: Waiting for targets in the Infantry Carrier Vehicle.

Members of the California National Guard fired weapons to test their readiness in preparation for future potential deployments. As can be seen below, not everyone got their H&K yet.

    Machine guns: Tripods beat bipods.
