If you’re new to the series, this is where we look at the most obscure firearms that are actually for sale and ask the question – is this Gat a sweet deal or only has a Fudd appeal? I’ve never met anyone who was in the market for a Taurus and luxury accessories from either of these brands. That’s not to say they don’t exist, but I’ve never personally encountered them. I guess it must be a Florida thing.

The Taurus TCP M738 is a 10.2 oz. .380 ACP chambered semi-auto pistol. Its single stack magazine holds six rounds of 380 ACP, begging the question, “Why not just get a revolver?”. I can understand wanting a slim carry gun, but the TCP M738 just isn’t doing it for me. I think there’s some Clint Smith quote floating around about 380 pistols, but hey, to each their own.

From what I can tell, the Taurus M738 is currently being phased out, making these guns something of a collector’s item. Does that mean they’re now worth a little bit more or should be toting Cerakote jobs such as these? As always this is where I leave it up to you, the readers, to decide.
