Whether you like the look of Strike Industries products or not, they fill a role that any parent, college student, or extreme couponer can appreciate. Aftermarket Glock slides from some other companies can run you more than a brand new Glock. With the announcement of the new Strike Industries LITESLIDE, an optics-ready Gen3 G17 or G19 slide can be had for $209.95 (plus theft).

The Strike Industries LITESLIDE for GLOCK G17 GEN3 was created with optimal accuracy and performance in mind, perfect for any upgrade or new custom build.

LITESLIDE Doesn’t Mean Light on Features

When I hear that something is less expensive than the competition, the first thing I want to know is what it’s made of. The SI LITESLIDE is machined billet 17-4 stainless steel, made right here in the United States of America. California to be exact. Get you some In-N-Out! The LITESLIDE features aggressive front and rear serration areas, as well as their SI Universal Optics Mount cut. The SI Universal Optics Mount allows mounting of a myriad of optics. It even comes with the screws and posts you need for most of those optics. It’s kind of like saying “Batteries included”. If you want to take a look at what Strike makes for the bottom half, Hrachya did some of that for you.

Next, I want to know what it looks like. True to form, the Strike Industries LITESLIDE follows the aesthetic familiar to users of other SI products; not too flashy, but plenty of style.

There are no slide windows, which should appeal to those worried about dust and debris. The cover plate for the optics cut is also included and matches the color of the slide. So, when are they available, and how do I get one? Well, they’re available now and can be found right here through Strike directly. Feel free to browse while you’re there, as Strike offers many other budget-friendly parts for pistols and rifles. If you like what you see, give them a follow on Instagram.
