Photo Of The Day – Every now and then there’s a reason for photos with no firearms at all in them. The F-35A Combat Power Exercise was such an example and when we have B-1B Lancer bombers together with B-2A Spirit bombers and Royal Norwegian Air force F-35A fighters together it’s that time again.

Above you can see B-1B Lancers from the Global Strike Command from 34th Bomb Squadron, 28th Bomb Wing US Air Force flying in formation with Royal Norwegian Air force F-35A fighters. This photo is from Bodø QRA 331 Skvadron / Forsvaret (Norwegian Defense).

Below some more B-1B Lancer bombers with Royal Norwegian Air force F-35A fighters.

Below: The B-2A Spirit bombers really look different in the sky. These are assigned to the 509th Bomb Wing, and there are F-15C Eagles assigned to the 48th Fighter Wing and Royal Norwegian Air Force F-35A aircrafts are there as well. Photo by U.S. Air Force photo/ Master Sgt. Matthew Plew.

Bomber missions provide opportunities to train and work with NATO allies and theater partners in combined and joint operations and exercises.” Photo by Master Sgt. Matthew Plew / U.S. Air Force.

For some more F-35As, and some Heckler & Koch HK416s, check the “ Protecting the F-35A Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter” and “ A-10 Warthogs, B-1, B-2, B-52 Bombers and more” POTDs.
