Featured Deals of the Week – 7/24/20

    Deals-of-the-Week-Header-1

It’s a bird! No, it’s a plane! It’s… it’s… the weekly deals post! And the crowd goes wild! It is once again that time of the week boys and girls, it’s time to pull out your wallets and sigh deeply because the price points we all knew and loved back in January are no more. But hey, there are still some decent deals out there, and I’m bringing them here for you.

    10-Pack of Gen2 PMAGs – $98

    Image Provided by DSG Arms

    What the deal is:

PMAGs. You know what they are, you know what they do, you know what they’re good for. The gold standard of AR-15 magazines, and honestly the gold standard of magazines everywhere, all neatly bundled up in a 10-pack just for you.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Well, the fact that they’re sub-$10 PMAGs is great. The fact that it’s an in-stock pack of magazines is even better. Gun stuff is only going to get harder to find for the next few months guys, stack it deep while you can.

Rise Armament Rave RA-140 Trigger – $89 After adding to cart

    Image Provided by WC Armory

    What the deal is:

Now I know that all of you readers out there all have sixteen ARs with four hundred and thirty-seven magazines and 15,000 rounds of 5.56 stacked up in a corner somewhere. But on the off chance you’re building an AR right now (like I am, having finally moved to a free state), the RA-140 is a great enhanced trigger option. It has a single-stage 3.5-pound pull, no uptake, and a crisp clean break. It comes with anti-walk pins and hex keys to install them.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Very rarely you can find these triggers for less than $100. Sometimes you can find them for $129, as is the displayed price on this page. But for $89? That’s a pretty great deal on a good drop-in trigger, especially for the times we’re in.

PSA AR-15 MOE Build Kit with CMC 3.5lb Trigger – $249.99

Image Provided by Palmetto State Armory

    What the deal is:

Remember how I said I was building an AR? This is the lower kit I used. Now before I get crucified for being a poor, which I am, let me defend the choice. The furniture (grip, stock, trigger guard) is all Magpul MOE. The trigger is a very nice CMC single-stage 3.5lb flat bow with anti-walk pins, very similar to the RA-140 above but flat. The other parts (springs, detents, pins) are the only PSA parts, and for what it’s worth they’re very good. This is honestly a great option for building out a lower with one-stop.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Parted out, altogether everything here comes to somewhere around $280. If you look hard, find sales, and are patient, you can probably get it down to closer to $240. But with the market the way it is, that’s not going to be easy, or even likely.

    Ballistic Advantage AR-10 16″ 308win government profile barrel – $199.90

    Image Provided by 1800gunsandammo

    What the deal is:

I wouldn’t recommend this for a 1,000-yard precision rifle, but if you want to put together an AR-10 for hunting or target shooting in the 500-yard range? This is a pretty good barrel for that. Especially if you might want to throw a suppressor on it. Ballistic Advantage makes great barrels, and this one is no exception.

    Why it’s a good deal:

I couldn’t find this barrel anywhere for less than $240, so to get it for just shy of $200 is not bad if I do say so myself. For $200 you’re getting a mid-length gas ported 416R stainless 16″ 308 barrel. If that’s something you’re interested in that is.
