Specifically designed to replace the factory barrel on the FN 509 Compact MRD pistols with a 3.70″ barrel. The threaded barrel is made from a cold hammer-forged stainless steel and finished with a black Melonite thermochemical quench-polish-quench coating.
The 1:10 twist rate should stabilize almost any commonly available 9mm loadings including some of the heavier subsonic loads. The 1:10 twist rate is supposed to provide the user with the most optimal accuracy performance according to Apex Tactical.
The Barrel also includes an undercut thread intercept so that a wide variety of attachments can be used – not just suppressors. The 1/2×28 thread pitch is very common and the barrel comes complete with a thread protector and o-ring. The barrel swap is easy and no additional parts are needed for installation. making this a true “drop-in” barrel swap.

Damn, I like the ACRO for the enclosed emitter, but I have yet to see it mounted on a pistol without it looking ugly as hell, and at the end of the day, that's what really matters.
I have a FNP-9 that was given to me. Really nice gun...except for the fact that every good shooter I hand it to is lucky to hit >20% on 8” plates at 30 feet. I‘ve wondered if a barrel would fix it, but before I look to see if anyone even makes one, I stop because I realize that if it was still so inaccurate after that, I’d lose my mind. So I just decided to never buy another FN pistol again, too many options to risk another disappointment.
