American Holoptics, an affiliate of Koucar Management, have bought EOTech from L3Harris. The purchase price is undisclosed. At the end of 2005 L3Harris acquired EOTech, a story that now comes to an end.
Koucar also owns Elite Defense, Odin Defense as well as a few other companies in their diversified operations.
For those who are not aware about EOTech, they are (or rather used to be) a division of L3Harris, delivering holographic sighting systems, tactical lasers, illuminators and thermal imaging equipment.
The U.S. Special Forces have used their EOLAD 552 with Integrated Laser Aiming Device and the model M40GL ECOS-GL Grenade Launcher Sight was designed for USSOCOM.

L3Harris Technologies Signs Definitive Agreement to Sell EOTech to an Affiliate of Koucar Management
MELBOURNE, FLA. March 2020 – L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) today announced the signing of a definitive agreement under which American Holoptics, an affiliate of Koucar Management, will acquire the EOTech business.
With annual revenues of approximately $60 million, EOTech manufactures holographic sighting systems, magnified field optics and accessories for military, law enforcement and commercial markets around the world. EOTechInc.com.
The transaction is expected to close in mid-2020 and is conditioned on customary closing conditions.
