Galil ACE Lower/Grip
Galil ACE has a polymer part that combines the pistol grip, trigger guard and extended magazine well. It is hard to name this part properly. It looks more like a lower receiver, but it doesn’t house the trigger mechanism. Galil ACE manual calls it “pistol grip” but it is more than just a grip. Anyways, KNS Precision has designed an aluminum part that replaces the polymer lower/grip on 7.62x39mm Galil ACE rifles.
The KNS Precision grip/lower allows installing AR-15 pistol grips on the Galil ACE. It is compatible with the grips that lack the beavertail. Also, with this KNS Precision upgrade, you get rid of the extended magazine well making the gun compatible with pretty much any magazine including the drums. The KNS Precision grip/lower is a drop-in accessory not requiring any changes to the gun and you can swap it back with the original polymer part should you need to. The installation requires use of basic hand tools. The MSRP of the KNS Precision Galil ACE grip/lower is estimated to be under $150 and it should hit the market soon.
AK Adustable Aperture Rear sight
This AK diopter sight is both windage and elevation adjustable. This is also a drop-in part. The reason we don’t often see aperture sights on AKs is probably that it is hard to acquire a good sight picture when the aperture is so far away from your eye. KNS Precision sight should help to solve this issue because its aperture is replaceable and the sight will come with a set of 5 different size apertures. You’ll be able to pick the aperture size that is most suitable for your eye and your front sight geometry.
This sight should also cost under $150 and will be available within two months.
