Kinetic Research Group, or KRG for short, have a new Whiskey-3 Competition chassis available for the Remington 700 Short Action.
This is KRG’s flagship chassis and features their Aluminum ARCA Forend, ARCA Spigot mount and a tool-less adjustable fixed Whiskey-3 backend.
As someone who just ARCA:fied his two PRS rifles and put on straight pistol grips, I can relate to the use and benefit of this attachment system in PRS-style shooting rather than Picatinny and similar solutions.
Below is the description from KRG:
Does your passion lie in PRS style long range competition? If so then we have the perfect starting point for your next match winning machine
We call it the Whiskey-3 Comp and it’s a derivative of our Whiskey-3 Chassis.
It’s a fixed stock version that features an installed aluminum Arca Forend plus our Arca Spigot. Add the weights and bag rider of your choice and you are set.
The W3C combines precise aluminum bedding with tool-less adjustments, durability, and excellent ergonomics. Right out of the box it allows the use of AICS style magazines (not included) in your rifle without any special bottom metal.
Numerous types of accessories can be added to the many attachment points, including handstops, sling mounts, rails, bipods, monopods, and more.
Our modular grip panels allow the shooter to tailor the fit of the stock to his/her hand which, combined with the other adjustments, yield a stock set up exactly as it needs to be for that particular shooter.
And we continue with a long description of the specification:
