The endless search for the perfect muzzle brakes gets another piece to the puzzle as Franklin Armory release their new series of muzzle brakes named Aura.

Choosing the right muzzle brake and timing is probably one of the most important parts on any build, especially if it is going to get used for competition. But I have a suspicion that it is one of the parts that gets the least attention, while people change their trigger or charging handle three or four times.

Especially a pinned and welded muzzle brake is going to have a hard time leaving the barrel, so you better chose wisely.

The Aura™ is perfect for minimalist and/or competition builds. Being short and light while providing excellent recoil reduction, the Aura™ brakes are the perfect addition to any firearm.

The Aura™ XTD is the extended version with a 6 o’clock pre-drilled hole for pin and weld applications for 14.5-inch barrels.

The Aura™ series is currently available in 5.56 NATO 1/2-28 thread with many more calibers and thread patterns coming very soon.
