Featured Deals of the Week – 10/4/19

    Deals-of-the-Week-Header-1

Hello again everyone, it’s that time of the week again. Assume the position. Wallets out, credit cards maxed, it’s gun deals time.

    Mossberg 590A1 12-gauge with ghost ring sights – $380

Image Provided by Buds Gun Shop

    What the deal is:

I figured that in honor of waterfowl season, I’d start off this Deals of the Week with a gun suitable for taking some fowl. This is the 20″ barrel model, which holds 8+1 rounds. Not particularly important if you’re taking game, but if you want to use this as your home defense shotgun, which you can, 8+1 is nothing to sneeze at.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Generally speaking, you see these, especially the 20″ with Ghost Ring sights, for somewhere around $450-500. So, since Buds is offering them for $380, that’s a pretty good price. If however, you don’t care about the bayonet lug or live in a ban state, GunBuyer has the 590 sans lug for $369.

TruGlo Glock Tritium Night Sights – $49.76

    What the deal is:

For anyone who doesn’t have them already, or has a brand new Glock en route that you want to slap some night sights on, this deal is for you. I personally am a huge fan of night sights on pistols. I love how they look in low-light conditions. So, since 90% of you have Glocks, here are some Glock parts. These WILL NOT fit MOS models but are otherwise compatible with a long list of Glocks that is in full on the vendor’s website.

    Why it’s a good deal:

New from the manufacturer these cost $88.99. From other vendors, they tend to go for somewhere between $50 and $70, depending on the vendor. If you have Amazon Prime to get free shipping, this deal is smoking hot.

$5 off Dyed Pmags with code dyed – $18-23 after code

    What the deal is:

“But Ben” I can hear you saying. “Why would I pay between $17 and $23 for a novelty magazine?” That’s a good question faithful reader. I do, however, have an answer. Cuz they’re cool. Come on. We’ve all bought things just because they gave us a chuckle and we thought they were neat. This is no different. If you want a 30-round PMAG dyed like a banana complete with a fake sticker? This is the deal for you. A “Haterade” magazine? They got you covered. What about a Plank themed magazine? You dare insult the son of a shepherd?!

    Why it’s a good deal:

$5 off ladies and gentlemen. For what it’s worth, I can vouch for the quality of the dye job here. While I don’t personally own one (I am, alas, stranded in a ban state) I have a friend living in a free state with magazines from My Southern Tactical, and the dye job is holding up just fine.

    Mossberg 590 Shockwave 20-gauge – $249.99

Image Provided by Palmetto State Armory

    What the deal is:

That’s right, surprise. It’s another Mossberg 590. Two in one Deals post, I know, I know. But it’s actually a pretty good deal. Slap a shockwave brace on her, and you’ve got yourself a great duck gun or skeet gun. Otherwise, just a very fun range toy, youth trainer, or novelty skeet shooter.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Generally speaking these run around $300, though they sometimes go for more. At this price, it’s not what I would call a smoking hot deal, but if you’re in the market for an inexpensive 20-gauge pump, this might be for you.
