POTD: Minigun Monday IV
The rotor is a Bell UH-1Y Venom and all pictures are taken by U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Jason Monty.
Below: Now over to some non-Gatling guns, the FN Herstal GAU-21.

U.S. Navy Master Chief Cory Bryan fires a GAU-21 .50 caliber machine gun from a UH-1Y Venom with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 163 (Reinforced), 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) during a live-fire training exercise. I wonder which one is the most fun to fire?
The GAU-21 .50 Cal or the GAU-17 Minigun? If you know – please let us know in the comments.

That Master Chief Bryan has quite the war face.
It hit me the other day that we don't get many POTD anymore. And then I remembered BOTW, which is weird because I thought there was a huge backlog of submissions that we never saw. I didn't realize that Tom R ran those, and they stopped shortly before he left.
How about reviving that series?
Sorry, it's hard to keep track of who the current writers/editors are. It seems like there's a lot of turnover.
