TFB is in attendance at TriggrCon 2019 and at the Range Day portion, we saw some intriguing components from Killer Innovations with a NEW Glock V1 Slide as well as some of their barrels and compensators. Their NEW Glock V1 slide is pictured above and features what Killer Innovations is calling Enhanced Grip Feature (EGF) Slide Cuts. With their EGF Slide Cuts they wanted to afford the shooter the ability to rack the firearm from wherever they please; front, sides, back. This slide also has an optics cut on the rear for you to add in your favorite red dot, and it is absent of iron sights so the shooter can choose their favorite of those as well. You can also order these in a couple iterations of your choosing:
- Model: G17 or G19
- Gen: 3 or 4
- Finish: Black Nitride or MDC (Gray)
killer innovations – Precision machining mod 2 Glock barrels
Another component they had on display at TriggrCon’s Range Day was their Precision Machining Mod 2 Glock Barrels. What sets their Precision Machining Mod 2 Glock Barrels apart from their original offerings is the option of a threaded barrel that will pair perfectly with their Velocity Glock Compensator (which we will discuss later). The barrels have tremendous curb appeal, but they are much more than that.
- Finish: Black Nitride, MDC (Gray), TiN (Gold)
- Model: G17, G19, G26
- 416R Stainless Steel Barrel & 11° Target Crown
- 1:10″ Twist w/ Single Point Cut Rifling w/ SPT Technology
- Threaded or Non-Threaded Options
The pricing for these varies from $189.99 – $210.99 depending on the precise options you choose for your given Precision Machining Mod 2 Glock Barrel.
killer innovations – velocity Glock compensator
A final component Killer Innovations had on display was their Velocity Glock Compensator. This product has been out on the market for roughly 1 year now, but it was the 1st time I have had the opportunity to see one in person. It is intriguing and impressive because when it mates with one of Killer Innovation’s barrels it is concentrically timed perfectly to the host firearm.
This achievement of perfect timing without crush washers and additional nonsense is achieved with 2 simple set screws in the Velocity Glock Compensator and channels machined out in the Precision Machining Mod 2 Glock barrel of theirs. Then, by pressing a serrated release button on the right-hand side (shooter’s perspective) of the Velocity Glock Compensator, you can tighten or loosen the compensator by finger. No aggressive jarring or wrenching on the barrel and comp required.
The shooting community honestly has a never-ending thirst for Glock components, customization, and tactical-tricking-out of their firearms. That may never change. So with these new and unique pieces coming out of Killer Innovations, what do you think? Let us know all of your thoughts in the Comments below! We always appreciate your feedback.
