Spotted! The Heckler & Koch 417P -The Firearm Blog

Around these introducing words, you can see a zoomed-in version from one of the pictures from the Concamo photoshoot.

Yes, that is a Heckler & Koch 417P and that’s at least the first time I’ve ever seen or heard about it.

In fact, there’s only mentioning of this version on Google as I type this. According to this source (MEDIA TEAM JÄGERTRUPPE) the HK417P is a special version being field tested by the Austrian Army.

All pictures are from CONCAMO www.concamo.com and the HK417P appeared in their photoshoot. The strong presence of H&K firearms could be because the pictures were taken at the HK shooting range.

The Heckler & Koch HK417P is described as a combination between the HK417 and the G28 Designated Marksman Rifle.

As far as I can judge the pictures below contain normal HK417s from H&K, but you get a feeling for the Concamo. If you can spot them.

We keep complaining about the fifty shades of FDE on the Heckler & Koch (and other) rifles, but it’s not bad in breaking up the signature of an uncamouflaged weapon. Remember – black doesn’t appear natrual in Mother nature.
