What the deal is:

In light of some of the unfortunate stories about flying with firearms, this week I’m including this Apache case. It is a hard-shell watertight case, perfect for transporting “specialized equipment” as the manufacturer puts it. Its exterior dimensions are 16.5″ x 6.75″ x 13″. Consequently, its interior dimensions are 14-7/8″ x 6-1/8 x 10-5/8″. The case is pre-drilled for two padlocks, which are the parts that should be TSA approved if you want to fly with this.

Why it’s a good deal:

It’s a Pelican 1450 knockoff, and the initial price reflects that. While a Pelican 1450 retails for around $120 (give or take), this case retails at $39.99. When you get $10 off with the coupon, that’s a pretty sweet deal for a case you can fly with.

Sig SP2022 40 S&W Police Trade-in – $279.99

What the deal is:

To head this off – yes, it’s in 40 S&W. Yes, I am aware that there are many, many people out there who hate that round. I’m not a huge fan of it myself. Having said that, it’s still a reliable DA/SA gun. It is a police trade-in so it will have experienced some wear and tear. Judging by the provided pictures, however, Sportsman’s definition of “Good Condition” includes some remarkably clean looking guns.

Why it’s a good deal:

So, these guns have been used. And your mileage may vary depending on your luck. However, for a gun that retails new at $450-500, paying $280 is not bad at all.

Norgon AR Heavy Ambi-Catch – $72

What the deal is:

This is a drop-in ambidextrous mag release for 308 AR platforms that use SR-25 type magazines. Specifically for DPMS LR-308s. These come very highly recommended, and while I was prowling for ambidextrous AR-10 parts deals (shout-out to TwoThirtyGR), I came across this little beauty.

Why it’s a good deal:

For starters, it is on sale. These are originally listed at $89.95, and they’re being sold for 20% off. That makes it a good deal off the bat. Secondly, these really do come very highly recommended. I’m sure someone, somewhere has had a bad experience with one of these, but the people I’ve talked to who knew about this company recommended this part.

PSA AR Pistol in 300AAC Blackout – $499.99

What the deal is:

This is a really cool little gun, I’m not gonna lie. I shot one of these once and I adored it. Just fun as hell. It’s a 7.5″ barrel AR-pistol chambered in 300 AAC Blackout. It comes with a pre-threaded barrel because suppressing your 300AAC is the new hotness, and additionally has a 1:8 twist.

Why it’s a good deal:

So PSA does their daily deals on the regular, and I highly recommend people looking for smoking hot discounts browse that page. This one was just a nifty enough gun with a steep enough discount that I couldn’t pass up adding it to the list. Normally these retail for $760, but PSA knocked $260 off that price to offer it for $500.
