I love straight pull. And I love switch calibers. Interesting design. The trigger drop out obviously reminds me of the R8. The barrel takedown reminds me of the Sauer.
The bolt did look smooth. The only question I might have is the length of the throw relative to the size of the bolt. Especially behind the lever. Or put another way, how far back is this bolt coming over the stock?
If too far, the shooter might have to gopher his head for every shot. Which would suck.
Do you have any indication of this? I assume you cycled it when up to your shoulder? When the employee demo'ed the action, I couldn't see the rear the bolt in the open position.
