Build Of The Year Winner Announced !
What happens when companies like Strike Industries, Primary Weapons Systems, Holosun and The Firearm Blog collaborate? Cool things like the Build of The Year giveaway! Today, we announced the winner at a live social media stream from the Strike Industries booth at SHOT Show 2019. And the winner is – Jim R with his Higgins Shotgun (45% of your votes). He will get an AR-15 rifle built with components manufactured by the mentioned companies.
The second place, which received 20% of your votes is occupied by Tony R thanks to his .300 BLK PDW build. Tony will get a $100 Brownells gift card. There are no third and fourth places per se but we randomly picked two other participants – Daniel S. and Erin C. Each of them will get swag packs from Strike Industries.
You are not familiar with the TFB Build of The Year giveaway? What rock have you been living under? In a nutshell, we have been posting articles titled Build of the Week telling about interesting and cool firearm builds. Then we asked our readers to vote for them to pick six finalists. The six builds that received most of your votes made it into the final, Build of the Year stage of these article series and lastly, you, TFB’s readers chose the winner from these six best builds.
Parts used in the giveaway rifle include the Strike Industries Pit Viper stock and receiver extension, PWS upper and lower receivers, Holosun red dot sight and a bunch of other Strike Industries accessories. Below you can find the video of the giveaway that was live streamed.
Thank you for submitting builds and voting for them! Stay tuned for more exciting projects.
P.S. We apologize for not having the Facebook stream on TFB’s Facebook page. The live stream failed due to some technical issues. We will post the video later.
