The Austrian Arms Space Predator Glock

The Austrian Arms Space Predator Glock is a collaboration between Austria Arms and Verex Tactical.

They are both based in Austria and well known for their service and their individual customer solutions.

Below: “Armed”. The more you look the more details you find.

Here are some facts about the Space Predator project:

The base model is the well-known Glock 19. The slide is laser cut and there is some milling done as well, but the looks of it there’s a lot of grip in those special serrations.

There are a lot of of small details to be discovered, like radiation signs and some bio-hazard marks.

For instance some of the Cerakote glows in the dark. Just check the radiation sign on the red dot sight.

The magazines are painted with the idea from some power cells. They are partly see through, so the amount of “energy“ left in your magazine can be seen. The “energy” in this case is a maximum of 15.

Red Dot with Sci-Fi touch – from SIG Sauer.

The Red Dot sight looks like a head up display and gives the gun a bit more Sci-Fi touch.

Ironically the red dot is from the competitor Sig Sauer, and the model is the Romeo 1. But in space no one cares, right?

The retail price is 2 980 Euro (roughly 3 500 USD) which includes the Space Gun, 2 Magazines and the red dot sight.

Expensive? Well it’s not your average Glock 19 any longer and many working hours and a lot attention to detail has gone into the gun.

Is this for everyone? No, but with the Glock factory in Austria mass producing ordinary Glocks for all other Earthlings I enjoy seeing some alternatives.

You can find Austrian Arms website here: www.austriaarms.com and Verex Tactical here: www.verex-tactical.com

Verex has a pretty cool Glock configurator here and here.

What’s your opinion on the Space Glock? Do you like it or not?
