Federal Ammunition is pleased to announce a new addition to its full line of Syntech handgun ammunition. Look for Syntech in a variety of popular loads, including the new 124-grain 9mm Luger. Adam wrote about the initial offerings, last fall, to include: .40 S&W (165 grain), .45 ACP (230 grain), and 9mm (115 grain).

The polymer-encapsulated Syntech bullet and cut-away

Conventional ammunition causes metal-on-metal contact between the bullet and bore, which can shorten barrel life and hurt accuracy. The polymer-encapsulated Syntech bullet prevents this while eliminating copper and lead fouling. Combined with clean-burning powders, your gun will stay cleaner, longer, so you can shoot more—and shoot better. The exclusive Catalyst primer provides the cleanest most consistent ignition possible—that’s why it received the 2017 NRA Golden Bullseye Award.

Same thing but cheaper, Federal needs to keep up. While they are doing this, other people are making stuff cheaper them Military Industries or um.. That company that sells reloaded ammo to MAC.

@It's just Boris Well, according to them, their powder and primers are high quality. They even tell you where they get their powder and primers from.

I would assume you are using this as range ammo, so even if 1 out of a 1000 rounds somehow is battered too much by being fired once, to eject properly...

Do you really care? I'm comparing this stuff to all the other reloaded ammo and it looks cheaper, almost as cheap as the steel cased stuff.
