The Polish Army using their new suppressed SAKO TRG M10 sniper rifles

Here you can find a nice array of photos (from Bartosz Różański) from the Polish Snipers of the 21:st Brigade.

As you can see they are using their new SAKO TRG M10 sniper rifles.

As TFB reported before, Poland have bought 150 TRG M10 rifles, which they now seem to have painted to blend into the winter warfare better.

The tender was announced in 2015, and was for .338 Lapua Magnum sniper rifles. Finland won with their SAKO M10.

The purpose of the training (apart from looking cool on photos) was to secretly get in and out of the sniper’s and spotter’s observation post.

Well hidden in the observation post, the objective was to observe the actions of the supposed opponents as well as their actions and report back.

The white gloves are effective as camouflage.

You can spot the sand / tan color on the scope under the white. ASE Utra suppressor.

This is SAKO’s description of their M10 sniper system.

The TRG M10 is a bolt-action sniper rifle that is available in multiple calibers, manually operated and shoulder-fired, as well as magazine-fed. It has a high-capacity magazine and fully adjustable stock that make it a multi-functional system in a single weapon, suitable for many different circumstances.

A high level of configurability make the TRG M10 an extremely versatile platform: it easily converts from a true long-range precision rifle to a more compact piece of equipment.

It looks like a scope from either Schmidt & Bender or Steiner Military, but the mount is definitely from Spuhr. Looks like the scope works even with gloves on! Most likely an Atlas bipod.

EDIT: As per a comment below, the scope seems to be a Hensoldt ZF 3.5-26 x 56, which is an excellent choice.

The M10 uses a 3-locking lug bolt, with 60 degree opening angle for fast bolt throw.

Note the spotter to the left.

I think the suppressor is from Finland, ASE Utra.
