Zev Custom made cuts into the slide of this Glock for weight saving purposes. They decided to make them look like Keymod pattern. From my understanding this was done for laughs rather than actually mounting any Keymod accessories to the pistol.

As you can see in the photo below, the barrel sits too close to the slide. Keymod would not fit properly.

The stipple job looks like a kid with a pointy soldering iron did it.

In the first picture I didn’t even realize it was a Glock…

  • SirOliverHumperdink

That would look great in my fingerless-gloved hands.

    M-LOK and we’ll talk 😉

  • Giolli Joker

Isn’t every ZEV done for laughs? 😛

    • DW

Joke’s on you if you buy them

But its so tacticool! I bet if Chris Costa shot one, they would be overrun with orders.

    • Lee Attiny

      Bob Costas shot this one.

Good job, you now have little dicks on the side of your glock

    • Edeco

      Little butternut squashes.

If those plates workrd, the added width beyond the frame would be really handy when racking. Excessive and unnecessary; be like having suicide knobs at three positions on a car steering wheel. But to give credit where due.

Just because something can be done, does not mean that it should be done.

  • Bill

I still use Pic rails, but aren’t these backwards?

  • mechamaster

The dimple pattern is more functional really. But yeah, it’s okay for humor purpose.
But somehow, if the keymod is working, it can be tailored for detachable custom weight. ( like a gaming mouse or throwing knife with customizeable weight )

  • Frebitz

    No thanks!

Without the stippled add on plates, all you are left with is a cheese grater slide. I see no benefit at all. If it were just for a reduction in weight, try new innovative slide cuts, to improve gripping and slide action. I did get a good laugh when I saw it though. But it was at them, not with them.
