The Ghosts of WWII

The The Ghosts of World War II's Past photos were created by Russian photographer Sergey Larenkov. He photoshopped WWII photos over modern photos taken at the same location and the results really make history come alive.

The City of Ruins is a short film showing what Warsaw looked like after the Nazi's razed it as punishment for the Warsaw Uprising. Images from the movie can be seen here.

    I can’t imagine a more dramatic depiction of WWII than the “Ghosts of Warsaw” photo. These good people did nothing to deserve the devastation that came to them from good old Germany.
