Last year, I wrote up a day in the life of a TFB writer at SHOT Show. Sharing the new products is fun, but this show is an experience, and that does not always come through in the coverage. SHOT exists to put basically everyone in the gun industry into a room together, so here is a field guide to the people of SHOT Show.

SHOT Show has something for every budget, and that includes Leupold, who brought their latest riflescope and rangefinding binocular to the annual firearms industry show in Las Vegas. Here’s what these new optics are about.

When it comes to American firearms manufacturers, few have a lineup as wide as Ruger’s. Their SHOT Show booth was a packed madhouse when I checked in on Wednesday for that reason—they have something for almost everyone, so everyone goes to visit. And almost all of those lines saw some additions for 2026. Here’s a look at what’s new (or kind of new) this year—except for the Harrier AR-15, which we already told you about here. We will be taking a separate look at that rifle later.

Falco Holsters announced updates to their Timeless series leather holsters at SHOT Show 2026 alongside two new hybrid IWB designs currently in development. The Timeless line already dominates their sales, and Falco's doubling down with reinforcement upgrades aimed at retention and durability.

RCBS brought their MatchMaster Precision Case Trimme r to SHOT Show 2026 alongside a new Multi-Cartridge Reloading Block and displayed several prototypes to gauge shooter interest. RCBS partnered with Henderson Precision on the trimmer, combining Henderson's design expertise with RCBS's manufacturing capabilities.

One thing is for sure at SHOT Show: Sightmark is going to bring out new budget-friendly optics, and they’re back at it again this year with two new prismatic scopes in their Strikon line. The new Strikon VMP 1-4x22 SFP Fiber scope and the smaller Strikon FMP 1x18 micro-prism are both available now, offering a lot of optic for reasonable cash. And they have new budget-friendly thermals to boot.

Bergara had several new rifles for 2026.  The Cima Pro spares no expense to create an ultralight hunting platform, and the Platinum Stalker takes a more traditional approach. Bergara’s new silencer, the BTi30, was also on display.

Magpul has some new releases for 2026, including additional color options. Unlike past years, Magpul is not announcing as many new items at SHOT but will be announcing them over the course of the year as they are ready to be released. So while there are a few things to go over today, you will have to stay tuned to see what Magpul is dropping later in the year.

Franklin Armory had several new things at SHOT Show Industry Day At The Range 2026, including the new Prevail bolt action rifle. This gun blends the best parts of controlled feed and push feed actions. We now have some rounds through the gun and can explain better how it works.

The elimination of the $200 tax stamp for acquiring suppressors significantly boosted this segment of the industry and made the SHOT Show 2026 extremely suppressor-centric. The number of companies getting into silencer manufacturing and the amount of suppressors and related products released at SHOT is unprecedented. One lesser-known company that specializes in designing and manufacturing silencers is North Country Armory. At SHOT 2026, we had a chance to take a look at their latest product, the Reduced Heat Signature (RHS) suppressor.

Swedish optics pioneer and red dot powerhouse Aimpoint displayed the COA optic and wide range of newly available A-Cut mounting opportunities at SHOT Show 2026. This system was unveiled at SHOT last year but was exclusive to the Glock Gen 5 pistols at the time. Now, it is available across a broad portion of the market.

Want to knock over big game a half-mile away? Winchester Ammunition has new options for you with the Supreme Long Range ammunition series, but there’s one big difference between these rounds and their other long-range hunting ammo: They’ve taken their bullet production in-house as part of a multi-year development project on this line.

The Level 1 of the SHOT Show is where the relatively smaller and newer companies normally are and that’s where you usually see experimental, weird and downright mindblowing stuff. For that exact reason, I love being there. This year, for this writer, one of the most intriguing and interesting guns seen in the Level 1 and possibly in the entire show was the Blecher LLC’s BrashZero caseless bullpup rifle that utilizes standard 5.56 NATO ammunition components (primer, powder and projectile) delivered separately into the chamber from dedicated reservoirs in the magazine.

TFB TV's @BallisticAviation checks out Angstadt Arms' new Vanquish 22 integrally suppressed rimfire lineup featuring zero-baffle, ported stainless barrels that vent gas into an aluminum chamber for subsonic standard .22 LR on Ruger 10/22s, including Volquartsen Summit straight-pull and Ultralite semi-auto rifles with match chambers and takedown options—all lightweight at 1.3 lbs, easy-clean, and mid-$500s at major dealers, plus HUB modular variants for custom NFA builds.

Today @Hoplopfheil⁩ walks you through the 50th Anniversary Beretta 92SB, a limited-edition reproduction of the classic 92SB built to celebrate 50 years of Beretta’s 90-Series pistols and their military and law enforcement legacy, while we’re at Beretta Range Day 2026. In this video, Ben and Hop show you the polished alloy-frame DA/SA 9mm with its 4.9-inch barrel, classic slide-mounted safety/decocker, special 50th anniversary markings, as well as a specially crafted case, challenge coin, and matching reproduction flush-fit magazines.

@Hoplopfheil  is out on the SHOT Show 2026 floor checking out the new EXPS3 HD on the SHOT Show floor with John from EOTech, who walks through what’s changed from the legacy EXPS line and why they went to an all‑aluminum “heavy duty” housing. Today, John explains the move to the cleaner, hoodless aluminum body, the side rotary dial with dedicated NV positions and an auto‑brightness mode, plus new shake‑awake and auto shutoff options aimed at making the 1x holographic more duty‑ready.

@BallisticAviation  is at SHOT Show 2026 Industry Day at the Range to check out the new B-22 Jaguar from Beretta. The B-22 is a purpose-built .22 LR rimfire competition pistol that brings the classic Jaguar name into a modern, race-ready platform for steel challenge, action rimfire, and serious training. It is a metal-framed, internal-hammer, single-action-only pistol built around a modular fire-control unit that delivers a crisp trigger and consistent reset. The line includes a base Metal model and an upgraded Metal Competition model with a semi-flat adjustable trigger, fiber-optic sights, gas-pedal thumb rest, and a compensator. An optics-ready 1913 rail, threaded barrel, and ergonomic controls make it easy to set up with a red dot, suppressor, or accessories, while the soft recoil and 15-round magazines make the B-22 Jaguar an ideal .22 LR race gun and training pistol.

In the world of ARs, you’ve got to keep moving forward or you’re going to be left spinning your wheels while the rest of the industry leaves you behind—especially in the defense sector. And since that’s where Daniel Defense plays, they’re aiming for the future with a new prototype rifle, displayed at SHOT Show, which just might be their premier offering when it debuts. It’s called the DD4 X1.

We live in a tactical world; SHOT Show is filled with ARs and AKs and PCCs, with rails and lights and suppressors and a host of other geegaws bolted on. If you just want an old-fashioned wood-and-steel gun to go hunting with, it’s getting harder and harder to find. Winchester still plays in this field, and they introduced a new SXR2 semi-auto hunting rifle at SHOT Show 2026. But it’s hard to say just how new it really is.

Back in December when Glock announced the new Generation 6 Glock 17, 19 and 45 one of the questions many asked online is will there be a GEN 6 COA? The COA, if you’re not familiar, is a collaboration between Glock and AIMPOINT which was launched at SHOT Show 2025.

New for 2026 from Weatherby is the Mark V Backcountry Capra, an unbelievably lightweight iteration of the Mark V rifle, advertised as the lightest production bolt-action rifle ever made. The lightest configuration of this rifle is chambered in .308 Winchester, has a 17” barrel and weighs 4 lbs! Yes, four pounds or 1.81 kilograms for those of you who are metric-minded.

This week at SHOT Show 2026 Shield Sights have just announced their new OMSx competition sight which combines the translucent roof design which was introduced last year on the OMSsc. The OMSx has the same wide viewing window as Shield Sights’ popular RMSx but combined with the translucent roof it creates the visual effect of an even larger window. Shield Sights say this allows shooters to pick up the dot faster and track targets more intuitively under speed and stress.

AT SHOT Show 2026, CCI introduced a new rimfire ammunition line called Hunter Series 22 and the Golden Boy Collector’s Edition bulk pack rimfire ammo release in collaboration with Henry Repeating Arms. Blazer, a CCI brand, came up with an all-new Blazer Brass Clean-Fire Suppressor product line as well as two additions to both Blazer Brass JHP and Blazer Brass FMJ lines. By the way, in 2026, CCI turns 75 years old.

At SHOT Show Industry Day at the Range I was excited to see Mimic Firearms were attending and as soon as I finished covering the First Shot of SHOT and catching up with Christian Craighead at the Steyr lane I headed straight to Mimic to check out their Speed9 carbine.

At SHOT Show 2026, Federal Ammunition introduced more than 20 new centerfire rifle cartridges, 25 shotgun ammunition options and 6 handgun ammo products. These include not only updates and new offerings in existing product families but also completely new ammunition lines. Let’s take a quick look at the most notable new products that Federal will offer in 2026.

New for 2026 from Remington Ammunition are several centerfire rifle, shotgun, handgun and rimfire ammunition options, both expansions of existing lines and completely new lines such as the new We The People ammunition that includes a mix of popular calibers and is created to commemorate America’s 250th anniversary.

Sierra Bullets and its subsidiary Barnes Bullets have jointly launched a new ballistics app called TrueData. The app features Doppler-verified ballistics, which, in conjunction with the precise environmental inputs and a variety of built-in tools, is advertised to allow hunters and shooters make confident shot decisions and achieve data-driven accuracy. Let’s take a look at the main features of the new TrueData Ballistics App as well as the new ammunition products of Sierra and Barnes.

At SHOT Show 2026, HM Defense unveiled a new patent-pending barrel technology called Peak Pressure Reservoir and Booster System. This technology is advertised to increase projectile energy and efficiency while reducing unwanted side effects like noise, flash and barrel heating. According to HM Defense, it offers greater operational flexibility, making existing weapon systems more effective without the need for larger, heavier or entirely new systems.

Got Light Machine Gun? If you’re like 99.9999 percent of the world, your answer to that question is: “No.” But if you’ve got the cash to play, you might be able to change that answer soon, thanks to a new import from Zastava. There’s only one problem: The M84 that Zastava is looking to bring stateside will be converted to semi-auto.
