One of the goals of TFB’s Photo Of The Day is to find and push the excellent work done by photographers around the world and in the firearms industry. See it as a “thank you” to those who go in harm’s way trying to capture various special moments for us, but also – like today – those who stay in the studio working out the perfect lighting and setting hour after hour. Armed with skills, cameras and sometimes a fair bit of editing here is where their hard work ends up. Today we’re going to have a closer look at a picture by  Holt Works Photography. In the picture above you can see the Mk IV Tactical “Space Blaster”. Could this be the U.S. Space Force’s next big thing?

Welcome to TFB’s Wheelgun Wednesday, where all of wheelgundom is on the table for discussion. Today, we’ll take a look at Uncle Fudd’s latest Space Force 6 build, involving another science-fictiony build for when the Space Force starts packing heat in orbit. A few months ago, we covered another of Uncle Fudd’s revolver builds that received a lot of positive feedback, and a few fiery naysayers as well. This next-generation build still involves a railed shroud but has a few enlightened aspects to it.

Welcome to another Wheelgun Wednesday at TFB, where every topic regarding revolvers is on the table. In today’s edition, we’ll take a look at a fun build by Redditor and Blogger, Uncle Fudd, of UncleFudd.com. His Space Cowboy Revolver starts off by using a Ruger GP100, a section of a rifle handguard, Picatinny rail and some optics to create a pretty futuristic-looking revolver.

Photo Of The Day: Ben at Battle Born Photography is a great photographer and when he published his artistic version of the HERA Arms CQR Stock and CQR Front Grip it immediately caught our attention. The configuration here is like it’s been made for recording a movie about Space and Aliens. Hopefully, the good side wins.

Today’s Photo Of The Day is composed by Mr 5lade. The firearm is a CZ Bren, kindly displayed by the Droid and flight assistant Maggie. But in this POTD we pretend it’s the next NASA Gun. While you’re in your deep sleep, traveling into unknown and remote galaxies, Maggie will take care of the cleaning of your Space Gun and make sure you’re comfortable.

Arming the Space Force, the sixth and newest branch of the United States Armed Forces will be an interesting endeavor when it comes to small arms. Naturally, any conventional weapon will be at the Space Force’s disposal while on Earth, but space brings a whole host of issues and challenges when it comes to firing guns in space as I covered in PART 1.

Ever since President Trump announced that a Space Force should be established, firearms enthusiasts have envisioned space suited door gunners, shooting any variety of futuristic-looking “space guns”.  The hope for a phased plasma rifle in the 40-watt range has been renewed once more.  As we move closer to the proposed, four year buildup of the United States Space Force, let’s look at some more realistic options for choosing a standard issue firearm of the Space Force.  First, though, let’s look at some of the challenges that stand in the way of bringing a firearm into the final frontier.

Thanks to Tom Bostic of Tommy Built, I got a G36 carry handle with the Hensoldt dual optic. I was going to put it on my Archangel conversion stock of my Ruger 10/22 but it did not fit. Then I decided to mount it to my Tavor X95. I present the G36 Tavor Collaboration.

Ever since the formation of a dedicated US military Space Force was announced by President Trump back in March the internet has been having its fun. Facebook, Reddit and the forums have been awash with Space Force jokes and memes. Many jokingly suggested Heckler & Koch’s legendary G11 caseless ammunition firing assault rifle would be the new force’s ideal weapon. Affectionately known by many as ‘Kraut Space Magic’ it seems an ideal choice. Our very own Nathaniel F included the G11 in his top 5 rundown of best guns for the Space Force.

With the recent announcement of a new US Space Force, everyone on the Internet has been talking about being first in line to the recruiter’s office to become one of the country’s first Space Marines (we have seen enough movies to know it is only a matter of time). But once you’ve signed up, what will you be issued as your primary weapon? Let’s take a not-entirely-serious look at weapons from real life, film, and fiction that could inspire those issued to future US Space Marines!
