Waffen Werle Luger Hybrid Monstrosities
My friend, from Hong Kong, shared this with me. At first I was confused. This couldn’t possibly be real steel. An AK Luger? It doesnt make sense. The barrel is not even attached to the front sight. This looks extremely dangerous. So it has to be airsoft right? Wrong. I discovered Waffen Werle, a German gun shop that specializes in Luger modifications.
Review: Daniel Defense M4A1 MIL SPEC+
There is nothing quite like a great factory built rifle sometimes. Like many American shooters my first rifle was an AR-15, unlike most American shooters I decided to build every single one I have owned. I never treated myself to spending quality time behind a premium factory built rifle. Man, was I cheating myself. Sure, my home builds work as you would expect, but the Daniel Defense M4A1 Mil Spec+ took the level of quality to a new place.
Magazine insert from Haley Strategic
Haley Strategic Partners, LLC has just released a magazine retention insert that can be inserted in a single 30 round magazine pouch, in addition to being able to be inserted in a .308 magazine pouch. The inserts are going for $12 a piece, while a pack of four go for $40, saving a customer $8 by buying a pack. It certainly is an interesting concept, allowing users to have open topped magazine pouches without the risk of the magazines falling out. No word yet on if these can work with AK magazines. No, Virginia, "M4A1+" Upgrades Don't Prove The M4 Is Flawed
The 2007 Dust Tests have come and gone. The IC Competition has completed. The M4 has remained the standard infantry rifle, and been upgraded to the heavy-barreled M4A1 standard. More upgrades are on the horizon, as part of the US Army’s effort to improve current infantry small arms. These “M4A1+” upgrades should indicate a certain level of satisfaction with the weapon – if the Army were unsatisfied, after all, surely they would divest themselves of the rifle entirely, rather than trying to improve it further.
